A few weeks ago, the girls took part in a science workshop with ‘Mr Z’ to celebrate Science Week. They had to get their thinking caps on to create a go-kart using only straws, tape, wheels and axles. At the end of the workshop the girls got to race their go karts to see which go-kart could travel the fastest. We had a great afternoon!
The girls worked together in pairs to create a matching pair of winter mittens. Working as a team and listening to each other was very important! They all did a great job! Well done to Taylor and Leah, winners of the ‘Handwriting of the Month’ award for the months of September and October. Keep up the wonderful work girls!
We have have been reading and learning about pets and how to look after pets in our English and S.E.S.E lessons. Last week, we used black and brown paper to create these images of our favourite pets! A few weeks ago, the girls brought in a special object to show to the class. They each took turns to stand up and talk about their object and explain to teacher and their friends why it is important to them. Here are the girls with their beautiful special objects! |
